Freeman's double-double lands him TEBA Player of the Week award

28-year old American forward Eric Freeman (200-F-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for Suphan Buri Bears and receives a Hoops Agents TEBA Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed Manta Rays (3-3) with 17-point margin 93-76. Bears is placed at 3rd position in Thailand TEBA. Bears is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. Freeman turned to be Bears' top player in his first season with the team. Brunswick Community College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Freeman is in league's top in points (7th best: 19.7ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 16.0rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 78.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Mahasamut Weraporasu (185-PG-2003). He is a guard in his first season at Bears. In the last game Weraporasu recorded an impressive 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with Freeman he helped Suphan Buri Bears with another comfortable win 93-76 over Manta Rays (3-3) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Western Conference. Bears consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 3-3 record is not bad at all. Weraporasu is a newcomer at Bears and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Dequandre Dentmond (203-F-1995) of league's leader Bangkok Sharks. Dentmond got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for eighteen rebounds and four assists. He was a key player of Sharks, leading his team to a 96-71 easy win against #3 ranked Coyotes. Sharks started extremely well this year. They recorded 5 victories without losing a single game in Eastern Conference. Dentmond turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Dentmond has a great season in Thailand. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.4ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 11.8rpg (4th best).
