Very important is a road loss of second ranked Raptors (4-2) against fourth ranked Manta Rays (3-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Raptors were defeated by Manta Rays in Hua Hin 93-81. stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners and Taiwo Badmus chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Scott responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Manta Rays moved-up to third place, which they share with Bears. Raptors at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. They share it with Coyotes. Manta Rays will play against league's leader Sharks in Bangkok in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Raptors will play on the road against the league's leader Mammoths in Phuket and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bears. Alex Rodriguez nailed 31 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Lee Weiyang came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 25 rebounds for Bears in the defeat. Manta Rays moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Bears. Manta Rays will meet league's leader Sharks in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bears will play against Coyotes in Bangkok and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 5 winless Hawks were beaten by Crocodiles on the road 91-85. Coyotes lost to Raptors on its own court 78-85.



Manta Rays - Raptors 93-81

Manta Rays outrebounded Raptors 53-42 including 18 on the offensive glass. Manta Rays players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Alex Rodriguez stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners and Taiwo Badmus chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Scott responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and Edzel Mag-isa produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds. Four Raptors players scored in double figures. Manta Rays moved-up to third place, which they share with Bears. Raptors at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. They share it with Coyotes. Manta Rays will play against league's leader Sharks in Bangkok in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Crocodiles - Hawks 91-85

Everything could happen in Chumphon at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Crocodiles and their close opponent Hawks had identical 0-5 record. This time Crocodiles used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Chon Buri 91-85 on Saturday night. Crocodiles looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Lee Richmond nailed 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and Alan Martin accounted for 22 points and 7 rebounds. Antonio Robinson came up with 31 points and DQueveus Adkins added 9 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for Hawks in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Crocodiles (1-5) left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Boars. It was Hawks' sixth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with six games lost. Crocodiles will meet at home league's second-placed Red Dragons in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hawks will play against Boars and hope to get finally their first victory.

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd placed Coyotes' (4-2) home loss to second ranked Raptors (4-2) in Bangkok 78-85 on Sunday. Raptors made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Marcus Scott nailed a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and McCrady Metelus accounted for 11 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Patrick Tchuente came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Ajay Sharma added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Coyotes in the defeat. Raptors maintains second place with 4-2 record behind leader Mammoths, which they share with defeated Coyotes. Raptors will meet league's leader Mammoths in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Coyotes will play against Bears and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
