Eric Freeman gets MVP of the Week award for Thailand TEBA (by Hoops Agents)

American Eric Freeman (200-F-1997) had a great game in the last round for Suphan Buri Bears and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TEBA Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 28-year old forward had a double-double of 32 points and 23 rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Boars (#4, 0-5) with 16-point margin 81-65. Bears maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Thailand TEBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Bears will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. Freeman turned to be Bears' top player in his first season with the team. Brunswick Community College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Freeman is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 16.5rpg) and averages solid 80.0% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American point guard Da'Monte Greene (180-PG-1997) of Buriram Boars. Greene impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Boars lost that game 65-81 to slightly higher-ranked Bears (#3, 3-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Eastern Conference. Boars still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. 5 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Greene is a newcomer at Boars and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 32.0ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 8.0rpg and 4.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was Alex Rodriguez of Hua Hin Manta Rays (#4). Rodriguez got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . Despite Rodriguez's great performance the Manta Rays lost 83-122 to #2 ranked Red Dragons. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. Manta Rays can only dream about fighting for top spots in Eastern Conference. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Rodriguez has individually a great season in Thailand. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 32.5ppg (best scorer).

9. RJ McGarthy (203-G) of Red Dragons - 25 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
10. McCrady Metelus) of Raptors - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
