Daylon Potts' triple-double lands him TEBA Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American Daylon Potts (196-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Phuket Mammoths and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TEBA Player of the Week award for round 1.
The guard recorded a triple-double of 32 points adding also 24 rebounds and 11 assists, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Hawks (#4, 0-1) with 33-point margin 96-63. It allowed Mammoths to jump to the first place in the Thailand TEBA. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Mammoths won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Potts had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Mammoths' top player in his first season with the team. Simpson University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Potts is in league's top in points (3rd best: 32.0ppg) and averages solid 4.0spg and 66.7% FGP. Worth to mention Potts played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Jordan Robinson (195-G-1996) of Buriram Boars. Robinson impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 20 rebounds. Bad luck as Boars lost that game 72-86 to Coyotes (1-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Robinson is a newcomer at Boars and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.0ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 20.0rpg and 7.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Marcus Scott (182-G-2000) of Pattani Raptors (#3). Scott showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 11 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Raptors, leading his team to a 90-77 easy win against #4 ranked Bears in a game of the week. Raptors has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Scott also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Scott as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader. Scott attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

10. Gerber Basco) of Raptors - 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists
