TEBA Round 1 (Regular Season): Bears lose their first game against Raptors

The Regular Season in TEBA just started. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Bears in Pattani on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Raptors 90-77. Raptors looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists for the winners and chipped in 18 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side Matteo Ramdani responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds. Raptors is looking forward to face Sharks in Bangkok in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bears will play at home against Sharks and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very significant was Coyotes' 86-72 road victory against Boars. nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and Ratchakit Wongdee accounted for 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Jordan Robinson (195-1996, college: North Park) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals for Boars in the defeat. Coyotes will play against Crocodiles in Chumphon in the next round. Boars will play at home against Mammoths and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Quite upsetting was Red Dragons' home defeat in a game versus Sharks 91-80. Dequandre Dentmond fired 33 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds for the winners. Robert Kowalczyk produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Red Dragons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sharks will meet Bears in the next round. Red Dragons will play against Hawks and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 1: Manta Rays won against Crocodiles on the opponent's court 94-80. Hawks lost to Mammoths in a home game 63-96. Bears rolled over Crocodiles on the road 88-45.




Crocodiles - Manta Rays 80-94

Very expected game in Chumphon where Crocodiles were defeated by Manta Rays 94-80 on Saturday. Manta Rays outrebounded Crocodiles 59-38 including a 23-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Manta Rays looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Manta Rays made 7 blocks. fired 47 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. chipped in 9 points and 22 rebounds. Nico Abeyta produced 19 points and 5 assists and Rene Alexandre added 17 points respectively for lost side. Manta Rays will meet at home Coyotes in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Crocodiles will play against Coyotes and hope to win that game.

Four Coyotes players scored in double figures. Mammoths will meet Boars in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hawks will play against Red Dragons in Pattaya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
