Chris Martin gets MVP of the Week award for Thailand TGBL

Experienced American Chris Martin (195-F-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for West Nonthaburi and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents TGBL Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 31-year old forward had the game-high 31 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for W.Nonthaburi in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Bangkok W. (#8, 3-5) with 37-point margin 97-60. W.Nonthaburi is placed at 3rd position in Thailand TGBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. W.Nonthaburi will need more victories to improve their 5-3 record. In the team's last game Martin had a remarkable 78.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be W.Nonthaburi's top player in his first season with the team. Martin has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.0ppg) and averages solid 54.2% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was American forward Jaiden Dixon (190-F) of Urban Reapers. Dixon impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds. Of course Reapers cruised to a 78-67 relatively comfortable win over Overseas S. (4-4). This victory allowed Urban R. to move up to 4th position in Water Division. His team's 4-4 record is not bad at all. Dixon is a newcomer at Urban R. and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Rodney Ross (185-G) of CNX Orion (#7). Ross got into 30-points club by scoring 32 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of Orion, leading his team to a 66-64 win against Bangkok G. (#10, 0-8). The chances of CNX Orion not to end season at such low position in Water Division, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Ross could try to bring CNX Orion's a little bit higher in the standings. Ross has a very solid season. In 4 games in Thailand he scored 19.8ppg.
