Mbachu's double-double lands him TGBL Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

33-year old American guard Victor Mbachu (188-G-1992) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team New Era Elks and receives a Hoops Agents TGBL Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 32 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Dynasty D. (#4, 1-1) 65-54. It allowed Elks to take over top position in the Thailand TGBL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and New Era E. won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Mbachu had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Elks's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Texas at El Paso graduate has very impressive stats this year. Mbachu is in league's top in points (3rd best: 32.5ppg), rebounds (6th best: 11.5rpg), assists (4th best: 7.0apg) and averages solid 3.0spg and 62.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Blayton Williams (190-G) of top-ranked Thailand Gorillas. He is American guard in his first season at Gorillas. In the last game Williams recorded an impressive double-double of 31 points and 12 rebounds. Of course he led Gorillas to another comfortable win outscoring Sathorn G. (0-2) 101-76. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Williams is a newcomer at Gorillas and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#9). His other stats are also decent: 10.5rpg and 6.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Accheaus Fields (189-G-1997) of league's second-best Shoot it Dragons. Fields got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and five assists. He was a key player of Shoot it Dragons, leading his team to a 88-79 win against Goblins (#6, 1-1). Shoot it Dragons has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Fields also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Fields as he played only first game. But it already looks like he can be team's leader.

9. Jalen Williams (193-G-2001) of RMUTT - 27 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Eric Freeman (200-F-1997) of Shoot it Dragons - 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
