Accheaus Fields gets MVP of the Week award for Thailand BTL (by Hoops Agents)

American Accheaus Fields (187-G-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Shoot it Dragons and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents BTL Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 28-year old guard had a double-double of 37 points and 13 rebounds, while his team outclassed Banvas (#5, 6-6) with 33-point margin 98-65. Shoot it Dragons maintains the 2nd position in Thailand BTL. They are still close to the very top. Shoot it Dragons would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 10-2 record. In the team's last game Fields had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Shoot it Dragons' top player in his first season with the team. Averett University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Fields is in league's top in points (3rd best: 26.2ppg), rebounds (7th best: 12.0rpg), assists (5th best: 7.1apg) and averages solid 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young British center Morakinyo Williams (209-C-1988) of Crypto Cobra Chiangrai. Williams impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 30 points and 15 rebounds. Of course he led Crypto Cobra to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked White Lions (#8, 4-8) 105-84. Crypto Cobra's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-3 record is not bad at all. Williams is a newcomer at Crypto Cobra and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.6ppg (#4). He also registered 14.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Gambian Omar Thielemans (203-SF-1999) of White Lions Basketball Club (#8). Thielemans showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Thielemans' great performance the White Lions lost 84-105 to the higher-ranked Crypto Cobra (#3, 9-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of White Lions not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Thielemans could try to bring White Lions' a little bit higher in the standings. Thielemans has individually a great season in Thailand. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.5rpg (9th best).
