The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Hitech (10-0) in Bangkok on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked TGE (6-4) 84-76. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Hitech. TGE forced 21 Hitech turnovers and had a 14-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. TGE looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Bobby Arthur-Williams (201-1997, college: Pitt St., agency: Starting 5) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and international Patiphan Klahan (200-1993) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was international point guard Frederick Lish (175-1988, college: USA) with 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists. TGE maintains fourth position with 6-4 record, which they share with Banvas. Hitech at the other side still keeps top place with 0 game lost. TGE's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Bangkok Banvas.
The game in Bangkok supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked Shoot it Dragons (8-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Banvas (6-4). Shoot it Dragons smashed Banvas 98-65. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Banvas. The winners were led by American guard Accheaus Fields (187-1997, college: Averett) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 13 rebounds and 8 assists and Eric Freeman supported him with 12 points and 16 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists by Canadian-Jamaican swingman Kareem Jackson (195-1988) did not help to save the game for Banvas. Banvas' coach Tawatchai Suktub gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Shoot it Dragons maintains second position with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Hitech. Banvas at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. At the other side the best for losing team was Omar Thielemans who recorded a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Crypto Cobra have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Hitech. White Lions lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Air Force. Crypto Cobra will meet at home league's leader Hitech in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. White Lions will play against the league's second-placed Shoot it Dragons (#2) and hope to secure a win.
