Experienced British Morakinyo Williams (209-C-1988) had an amazing evening in the last round for Crypto Cobra Chiangrai and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents BTL Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 37-year old center had a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat TGE (4-2) 87-82. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Crypto Cobra maintains the 3rd position in Thailand BTL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Crypto Cobra will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 61.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Crypto Cobra, through which he has constantly improved. The Citadel graduate has very impressive stats this year. Williams is in league's top in points (5th best: 25.2ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 16.3rpg) and averages solid 3.0bpg and 56.3% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Daison Hughes (189-G-2000) of Thailand Gorillas. Hughes impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 45 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Gorillas lost that game 72-86 to league's leader Shoot it Dragons (#2, 6-0). Th.Gorillas are still at the very bottom. 6 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Hughes is one of the most experienced players at Th.Gorillas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 34.2ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 14.0rpg and 6.0apg. Western Oregon University alumni Hughes played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was American Javan Smith (188-G-1996) of Warriors Thailand (#9). Smith got into 30-points club by scoring 43 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . Despite Smith's great performance the Warriors lost 90-111 to slightly higher-ranked Pythons (#8, 2-4). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Warriors can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Smith has individually a great season in Thailand. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.0ppg (2nd best). Smith attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Ibrahim Diaby (197-F-2001) of TGE - 28 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists
5. Eric Freeman (201-SF-1997) of Shoot it Dragons - 18 points and 16 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
