Carroll's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

American Forward Volante Carroll (201-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Shoot it Dragons and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team SWU (#8, 0-14) with 44-point margin 98-54. Shoot it Dragons maintains the 4th position in Thailand league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Shoot it Dragons will need more victories to improve their 8-6 record. Carroll has many years of experience at Shoot it Dragons, through which he has constantly improved. Bluefield College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Carroll is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 12.3rpg) and averages solid 1.9bpg,2.5spg and 50.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Charles Christien (216-F/C-1981) of Banvas Slammers. He is American forward in his first season at Banvas. In the last game Christien recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Banvas to another comfortable win 101-82 over slightly lower-ranked Air Force (#6, 5-9) being unquestionably team leader. Banvas' 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 8-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Christien is one of the most experienced players at Banvas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.3ppg (#5). He also registered 13.8 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward John Fields (205-F/C-1988) of league's leader Hitech Bangkok City. Fields scored 25 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Hitech, leading his team to a 102-90 win against #2 ranked TGE in a game of the week. Hitech confirms their top position in the standings. Fields has a great season in Thailand. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.8ppg (4th best), rebounds with 15.3rpg (5th best) and assists with 2.8apg (8th best).
