Wave dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Devil Rays' 48. They outrebounded Devil Rays 62-42 including a 44-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Wave looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Raymond Miller (204-1988, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 23 rebounds. British center Morakinyo Williams (209-1988, college: Citadel) contributed with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. American guard Jose Nouchanthavong (187, college: S.Maine) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and British forward Joe Mvuezolo (197-1996, college: Montana St.) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Devil Rays. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Devil Rays' coach S. Premprapan rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win.
