Tew Fra gets MVP of the Week award for Thailand TBL (Second Stage)

Tew Fra had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Devil Rays and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage).
The had a double-double of 20 points and twenty one rebounds, while his team outclassed SWU (#2, 4-1) with 28-point margin 85-57. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Devil Rays to jump to the first place in the Thailand TBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Devil Rays already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Fra turned to be Devil Rays' top player in his first season with the team. Fra has impressive league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 19.7rpg. Fra is in league's top in and averages solid 2.1bpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young British center Morakinyo Williams (209-C-1988) of Wave. Williams impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds. Of course Wave cruised to a 82-74 relatively comfortable win over T-REX (#6, 0-5). This victory allowed Wave to leave bottom place moving a little bit up to 5th position in the standings. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Wave managed to get this Second Stage. Williams is a newcomer at Wave and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.1ppg (#4). He also registered 13.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Takamin Sirijariyaporn (181-G-1997) of Tigers (#3). Sirijariyaporn scored 29 points and passed eight assists. He was a key player of Tigers, leading his team to a 90-69 easy win against #4 ranked Pythons in a game of the week. Tigers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Sirijariyaporn has a very solid season. In 14 games in Thailand he scored 19.6ppg. He also has 5.2apg, 3.6spg and FGP: 55.8%.
