Robinson's double-double lands him Player of the Week award- July 25, 2023
He had a double-double of 38 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed Mammoth (#9, 1-8) with 49-point margin 145-96. T-REX is placed at 3rd position in Thailand league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. T-REX will need more victories to improve their 6-3 record. In the team's last game Robinson had a remarkable 73.1% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at T-REX, through which he has constantly improved. Johnson and Wales University, FL graduate has very impressive stats this year. Robinson is in league's top in points (4th best: 25.6ppg), rebounds (7th best: 13.3rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg and 58.6% FGP. Worth to mention Robinson played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. Second best performed player last round was Joshua Alcober. He is a in his first season at T-REX. In the last game Alcober recorded impressive 39 points and 5 rebounds. Of course together with Robinson he helped T-REX with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Mammoth (#9, 1-8) 145-96. This victory allowed T-REX to move up to 3rd position in the standings. His team's 6-3 record is not bad at all. Alcober is one of the most experienced players at T-REX and similarly like Tevis Robinson has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Third place about best performers goes to swingman Sergii Pryimak (204-G/F-1996, agency: BIG) of SWU (#4). Pryimak showcased his all-around game by recording 29 points, twenty three rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Pryimak's great performance SWU lost 92-118 to #1 ranked Tigers. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing SWU needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 3 lost games. Pryimak has a great season in Thailand. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 17.6rpg (3rd best). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 63.6%. Other top performing players last week: 4.
