Devil Rays land Jose Nouchanthavong

Defending champion Ban Bueng Devil Rays (TBL) tabbed American 187cm guard Jose Nouchanthavong (college: S.Maine). Nouchanthavong played most recently at Tigers. In 10 ASEAN League games in Thailand he averaged 13.1ppg, 4.1rpg, 3.0apg and 1.6spg (in top 5) last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-ASEAN League Honorable Mention.
And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life on three different continents. Nouchanthavong is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally also in USA and Armenia (Urartu).
His team won Armenian Supercup in 2022.
Nouchanthavong attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on he way to pro basketball.
He graduated from University of Southern Maine in 2016 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. Nouchanthavong played also for Southern Maine Community College for one year.
