Sharks - DAI Tigers 101-93

Sharks claimed TEBA League title. They overcame DAI Tigers in the championship game. Sharks outrebounded Tigers 61-46 including a 42-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international forward Afnan Charansarn (186-1997) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners and forward Mohammed Diaby (196) chipped in 25 points and 18 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Accheaus Fields (187-1997, college: Averett) responded with 37 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the other American import guard Marius Hopkins (190, college: S.Suburban JC) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
