Scharer's double-double lands him (Second Stage) Hoops Agents Player of the Week award- July 29, 2022
He had a double-double of 35 points and 17 rebounds, while his team lost the game against Devil Rays (#2, 12-2) 97-102. Dunkin' Raptors maintains the 5th position in Thailand league. Dunkin' Raptors is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 8th lost game this season out of 14 games. In the team's last game Scharer had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Dunkin' Raptors, through which he has constantly improved. Shoreline Community College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Scharer is league's best scorer averaging so far 34.3ppg. Scharer is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 15.3rpg), assists (2nd best: 6.9apg) and averages solid 1.2bpg,3.6spg and 53.4% FGP. Worth to mention Scharer played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. In the last game Keyes recorded impressive double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds. Of course he led Hitech to another comfortable win 75-56 over the lower-ranked Bangkok Tigers (#4, 9-5) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Hitech consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team belongs to top of the standings with 13-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Keyes is one of the most experienced players at Hitech and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. Former Muskingum University star Keyes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Third place about best performers goes to another Hitech's star - guard Nattakarn Muangboon (180-PG-1991). Muangboon showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, seven rebounds and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of Hitech, helping his team with a 75-56 easy win against #4 ranked Bangkok Tigers. Many experts and fans count Hitech as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 13 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Muangboon has a great season in Thailand. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.1apg (4th best). Other top performing players last week: 4.
