The 28-year old playmaker had the game-high 30 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Devil Rays in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Thunders (#7, 3-4) with 45-point margin 111-66. It allowed Devil Rays to consolidate first place in the Thailand TBL. Devil Rays have a solid 7-1 record. In the team's last game Johnson had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Devil Rays, through which he has constantly improved. Prairie View A&M University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Johnson is in league's top in points (5th best: 25.7ppg) and averages solid 3.7spg and 60.3% FGP. Worth to mention Johnson played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Danai Kongkum (193-PF-1985) of Mad Goat. Kongkum impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Mad Goat lost that game 50-89 to the higher-ranked TGE (#4, 6-2). Mad Goat is still second from the bottom in the standings. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Mad Goat managed to get this year. Kongkum is one of the most experienced players at Mad Goat and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 21.8ppg (#9). He also registered 7.0 boards per game. The third best performed player last round was Patiphan Klahan (PF) of second-ranked Hitech. Klahan scored 16 points and grabbed sixteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Hitech, leading his team to a 119-64 easy win against the lower-ranked SWU (#5, 3-4). Hitech is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 7-1 record is not that bad... Klahan has a very solid season. In 5 games in Thailand he scored 11.4ppg. Other top performing players last week: 4. Jarron Crump (183-PG-1992) of TGE - 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists 5. Panthawat Techasamran (G/F) of Shoot it Dragon - 29 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists 6.
