Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Bangkok Tigers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bangkok Tigers defeated 4th placed TGE at home 109-105. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TGE. They outrebounded TGE 85-48 including a 31-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bangkok Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Jatupol Supap orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Cameroonian forward Gabriel Yeumo (200-1988) contributed with 15 points and 23 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Jarron Crump (183-1992, college: Pacific Union) answered with 40 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for TGE. Bangkok Tigers have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Devil Rays. TGE at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Dunkin' Raptors and Thunders. TGE will play next round against strong Dunkin' Raptors trying to get back on the winning streak. Bangkok Tigers will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Mad Goat in Nakorn Phantom.
Another interesting game for Hitech (4-1) which played on the court of 3rd placed Dunkin' Raptors (3-2). Fourth ranked Hitech had an easy win 92-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dunkin' Raptors. American forward Adam Stanford (193-1995, college: Campbellsville) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 21 rebounds for the winners and Sukhdave Ghogar chipped in 7 points and 20 rebounds. Hitech's coach Manid Niyomyindee allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Adam Stanford (193-1995, college: Campbellsville) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 21 rebounds. Defending champion moved-up to third place. Dunkin' Raptors at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with TGE and Thunders. Hitech will play against bottom-ranked T-REX (#10) in Nakhon Ratchasima in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dunkin' Raptors will have a break next round.
An interesting game was also a 33-point home defeat of 7th ranked SWU in a game versus TGE (#4) 105-72. Joe Mvuezolo nailed 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Natthaworn Banjathon came up with 26 points for SWU in the defeat. SWU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. TGE have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 3-2 record, which they share with Dunkin' Raptors and Thunders. Loser SWU keeps the seventh position with three games lost. TGE will meet at home higher ranked Dunkin' Raptors in the next round. SWU will play against Thunders (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 5 Mad Goat smashed T-REX on the road 79-53. Thunders won against Shoot it Dragon on its own court 78-74.

T-REX - Mad Goat 53-79

Everything could happen in Nakhon Ratchasima at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Mad Goat and bottom-ranked T-REX had identical 0-4 record. But T-REX was not able to use a home court advantage and was crushed by the opponent from Nakorn Phantom 79-53 on Sunday night. Mad Goat dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to T-REX's 28. They outrebounded T-REX 64-42 including a 41-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mad Goat looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by T-REX's players. Polish Robert Kowalczyk (202-1995) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 29 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and the former international Danai Kongkum (193-1985) accounted for 32 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Kulthawat Piyalangka came up with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Alex Smith (201-1988, college: BCU) added 4 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks respectively for T-REX in the defeat. Mad Goat maintains eighth place with 1-4 record. It was T-REX's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Shoot it Dragon. Mad Goat will meet league's leader Bangkok Tigers on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. T-REX will play against Hitech (#3) in Bangkok and hopes to get finally their first victory.

Thunders - Shoot it Dragon 78-74

Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Shoot it Dragon (0-5) lost on the road to seventh ranked Thunders (3-2) 78-74 on Sunday. Thunders outrebounded Shoot it Dragon 53-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. Chiedoziem Okafor nailed a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Kittitep Lane Dasom accounted for 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Frederick Jones-Goldstein (178-1988, college: USA) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Pawit Chokamnuai added 18 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Shoot it Dragon in the defeat. Shoot it Dragon's coach Boonchai Rittiphanyawong rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Thunders moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Dunkin' Raptors and TGE. Loser Shoot it Dragon still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with T-REX. Thunders will meet SWU (#7) in the next round. Shoot it Dragon will play against the league's second-placed Devil Rays and hopes to get finally their first victory.
