Kittitep Lane Dasom had an amazing evening in the last round for Thunders and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The had a double-double of 23 points and eleven rebounds, while his team crushed, the league's bottom-ranked team Mad Goat (#8, 0-2) with 19-point margin 82-63. Thanks to this victory Thunders moved-up to the 7th position in Thailand TBL. Thunders is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Dasom had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Thunders and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Dasom has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 24.0ppg), assists (4th best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 47.6% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American point guard Avery Scharer (185-PG-1986) of Dunkin' Raptors. Scharer impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Dunkin' Raptors lost that game 72-95 to Devil Rays (2-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Scharer is one of the most experienced players at Dunkin' Raptors and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.0ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 14.0rpg and 5.5apg. Shoreline Community College alumni Scharer played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

The third best performed player last round was Natthaworn Banjathon (179-G) of SWU (#5). Banjathon got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . He was a key player of SWU, leading his team to a 72-62 win against T-REX (#10, 0-2). SWU needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 1 victory and 1 lost game. Banjathon has a great season in Thailand. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.0ppg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Alexander Osmand) of T-REX - 15 points, 17 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
