TGE - Bangkok Tigers 86-80 First ranked host TGE (12-2) defeated 3rd ranked Bangkok Tigers (9-5) 86-80. TGE forced 22 Bangkok Tigers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Manatkawin Booddoung (177) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and forward Thanakrit Limjittakorn (181-99) who added 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Thakamin Sirichariyaphon with 19 points, 8 assists and 6 steals and Nattapat Biasamrit scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Bangkok Tigers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TGE have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-2 record. Bangkok Tigers at the other side keep the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Dunkin' Raptors. Hitech dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Sting Rays' 24. Hitech forced 20 Sting Rays turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Sting Rays' players. The winners were led by Nattapol Kupradit (175) who scored that evening 19 points and 4 assists and Saran Baitanee supported him with 8 points and 13 rebounds. Even 13 points and 6 rebounds by Darongpan Apiromvilaichai did not help to save the game for Sting Rays. The former international guard Jittaphon Towaroj (186-91) added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Sting Rays' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains second position with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader TGE. Sting Rays lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the fifth place with seven games lost.
