Dunkin'' Raptors - Sting Rays 52-77 The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Sting Rays (6-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Dunkin' Raptors (4-4). Sting Rays smashed Dunkin' Raptors 77-52 on Saturday. Sting Rays forced 21 Dunkin' Raptors turnovers. This time they crushed 9th ranked Mad Goat (1-7) 89-69 in Nakorn Phantom. Bangkok Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Tanner Hazelbaker (184, college: WBU) fired 27 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Wuttipong Dasom chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Bangkok Tigers players scored in double figures. Udomchot Thiamlert produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists and center Woraphat Panklom (194) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bangkok Tigers (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Hitech outrebounded Thunders 46-27 including a 35-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Hitech especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for the former international Wattana Suttisin (183-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Saran Baitanee helped adding 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Hitech players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Kittithep Dasom responded with 30 points and guard Apisittinan Dasom (188-92) scored 5 points and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Sting Rays. Thunders lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Shoot it Dragon. Hitech will meet at home Shoot it Dragon (#6) in the next round. Guard Manatkawin Booddoung (177) contributed with 20 points and 4 steals for the winners. Five TGE players scored in double figures. Filipino guard Christian Calaguio (185-75, agency: BIG) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and Callahan Setakhet added 22 points in the effort for T-REX. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for TGE. They maintain second place with 7-1 record behind leader Bangkok Tigers. T-REX lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. TGE will play against higher ranked Dunkin' Raptors in the next round. T-REX will play against Thunders (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
