Johnson number one in Thailand for round 2

American Center Reginald Johnson (208-C-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for Raptors, receiving a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 36 points and 28 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Pegasus (#9, 0-2) with 28-point margin 107-79. Raptors is placed at 3rd position in Thailand TBSL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Raptors won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Johnson had a remarkable 76.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Raptors and just after two games he already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Former University of Miami star has very solid stats this year. Johnson is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.5ppg and leads league in rebounds with 25.5rpg. Johnson is in league's top in assists (6th best: 6.0apg) and averages impressive 2.5spg and 70.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Raptors' star - 33-year old American Avery Scharer (185-PG-86). Scharer had a very good evening with a double-double of 26 points and 12 assists. Of course together with Johnson he helped Raptors with another comfortable win outscoring Pegasus (0-2) 107-79. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won both games so far. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Scharer is a newcomer at Raptors, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.5ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 7.5rpg and 8.5apg. Former Shoreline Community College star Scharer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third on the list of top players last round was Filipino guard Alfred Mandani (185-G-87) of league's top team BBM CLS. Mandani showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and ten assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of BBM CLS, leading his team to a 71-70 win against ZNO Eagles (#10, 0-2). BBM CLS has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Mandani also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Mandani has a great season in Thailand. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.5ppg (5th best).

9. Morakinyo Williams (210-C-88) of MUBC - 22 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Christopher Ellis (192-F) of Luang - 22 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists
