Adroit inks Demetris Morant, ex Szolnok

Adroit - TRT Widodo (TBSL) agreed terms with 27-year old American forward Demetris Morant (206-95kg-92, college: FGCU). He played last season at Szolnoki Olajbanyasz KK in Hungarian A Division. In 10 games he had 6.9ppg and 6.3rpg this season. The last season Morant played at Artland Dragons (ProA) in German league where in 29 games he recorded 13.0ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.2bpg. Quite impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro A Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won A-Sun Tournament for two years in a row (2016 and 2017). Morant was also voted All-A-Sun Defensive Player of the Year back in 2017.
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
Morant attended Florida Gulf Coast University until 2017 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
