BBM CLS Knights land Murphy Burnatowski, ex St.John's E.

Newly promoted BBM CLS Knights (TBSL) tabbed 28-year old Canadian ex-international forward Murphy Burnatowski (203-104kg-91, college: Colgate). He played recently at St. John's Edge in Canadian NBL. In three NBL Canada games he averaged 9.3ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.0apg this season. Burnatowski also played for Fribourg Olympic (SBL) in Swiss league. The team played in three different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In three NBL Canada games he recorded 9.7ppg, 1.3rpg and 1.0spg. Burnatowski also played 2 games in where he got 11.5ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.0apg. He also played 4 games in where he got 12.8ppg, 4.0rpg and 2.5apg.
Among many awards Burnatowski won Swiss SBL championship title in 2018. He received also Eurobasket.com Swiss SBL All-Imports Team award in 2018.
Burnatowski was also a member of Canadian international program for some years. He played for Canadian Senior National Team between 2011 and 2017 and previously for University National Team back in 2013.
Burnatowski also represented Canada at the World University Games in Kazan (Russia) seven years ago.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Burnatowski experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Burnatowski has played previously professionally also in Cyprus (Apoel), Poland (Slask), Czech Republic (Usti n/Labem), Switzerland (Starwings) and Vietnam (Saigon Heat).
He attended Colgate University until 2014 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
