Experienced American Avery Scharer (185-PG-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for Raptors and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 7 (Second Stage).
The 33-year old playmaker recorded a triple-double of 28 points adding also fourteen rebounds and eleven assists, while his team crushed Thunders (#8, 4-12) with 20-point margin 97-77. Raptors maintains the 5th position in Thailand TBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Raptors will need more victories to improve their 10-6 record. In the team's last game Scharer had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Raptors' top player in his first season with the team. Shoreline Community College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Scharer is league's best scorer averaging so far 27.8ppg. Scharer is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 10.1rpg), assists (2nd best: 8.1apg) and averages solid 2.1spg and 57.4% FGP. Worth to mention Scharer played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 27-year old Jamaican center Anthony Allen (213-C-92) of Mad Goat. Allen impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 20 points and 22 rebounds. It was enough for Mad Goat to edge the lower-ranked SWU (#7, 4-12) by 5 points 77-72. Mad Goat's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 10-6 record is not bad at all. Allen is a newcomer at Mad Goat and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Raptors' star - American Anthony McClain (211-C-88). McClain scored 27 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Raptors, helping his team with a 97-77 easy win against the lower-ranked Thunders (#8, 4-12). Raptors needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 6 lost games. McClain has a great season in Thailand. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 16.6rpg (#1 in league).
