Top ranked Yulon Luxgen (19-9) recorded its ninth loss against third ranked Keelung BK on Saturday night. Yulon Luxgen were edged by Keelung BK 78-75. Guard Chen-Yuan Wang (176-1998) fired 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward I-Tsung Chu (186-1986) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) produced 27 points, 21 rebounds and 7 assists for lost side. Yulon Luxgen's coach Chi-Yi Lee rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Keelung BK maintains third place with 13-15 record having six points less than leader Yulon Luxgen. Yulon Luxgen at the other side still keeps top position with nine games lost.
Important game to mention about was the one when fifth ranked Changhua (8-20) saved a 3-point victory edging 3rd placed Keelung BK (13-15) 71-68 on Sunday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Tien-You Yang (170-1993) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Nicholas Evans contributed with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Changhua's coach Chun-Hsiung Wu used entire bench in such tough game. Guard Hung-Yu Huang (185-1999) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for Keelung BK. Changhua have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 8-20 record. Keelung BK at the other side keeps the third position with 15 games lost.
Very important is a loss of second ranked Bank of Taiwan (18-10) against fifth ranked Changhua (8-20) on Saturday night. Bank of Taiwan was defeated by Changhua in a tough game 56-63. Nicholas Evans stepped up and scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. At the losing side Chia-Wei Chien responded with 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Changhua have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 8-20 record. Loser Bank of Taiwan keeps the second position with ten games lost.
In the last game of round 13 Taiwan Beer defeated Bank of Taiwan 88-71.
