Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

An interesting game for Bank of Taiwan (12-5) which played against 3rd ranked Keelung BK (9-8). First ranked Bank of Taiwan managed to get a 8-point victory 72-64. Bank of Taiwan outrebounded Keelung BK 47-36 including 32 on the defensive glass. Bank of Taiwan looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American power forward James Padgett (203-1991, college: Maryland) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. The former international point guard Wei-Cheng Wang (183-1999) contributed with 4 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Guard Kuang-Chien Chiang (184-1998) replied with 17 points for Keelung BK. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bank of Taiwan have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-5 record. Keelung BK at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Bank of Taiwan are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Changhua (#5) on the road in the next round. Keelung BK will play against the league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) responded with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bank of Taiwan have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-5 record. The winners were led by Wendell Lewis who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds. Even a double-double of 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists by Gerard Tarin did not help to save the game for Taiwan Beer. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Keelung BK maintains third position with 9-8 record having just three points less than leader Bank of Taiwan. Loser Taiwan Beer keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Keelung BK will meet league's second-placed Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiwan Beer's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Taipei to the arena Bank of Taiwan.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 8: Yulon Luxgen smashed Changhua 100-75. Taiwan Beer won against Changhua 70-60. Yulon Luxgen outscored Changhua 85-60.




Changhua - Yulon Luxgen 75-100

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Yulon Luxgen (11-7) crushed bottom-ranked Changhua (5-13) 100-75 on Thursday. Yulon Luxgen dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Changhua's 40. They outrebounded Changhua 48-32 including a 35-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Yulon Luxgen looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 30 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Ming-Yi Lin (176-1996) supported him with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds by American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Changhua. Nigerian forward Ifeanyi Eboka (198-2000) added 17 points and 8 rebounds for Yulon Luxgen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yulon Luxgen maintains second position with 11-7 record behind leader Bank of Taiwan. Changhua lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will meet Keelung BK (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Changhua will play against the league's leader Bank of Taiwan and hope to secure a win.

Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 23 points and 15 rebounds by American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) did not help to save the game for Changhua. Rather predictable result when second ranked Yulon Luxgen (11-7) rolled over bottom-ranked Changhua (5-13) 85-60 on Sunday. Yulon Luxgen made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Yulon Luxgen outrebounded Changhua 43-29 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Yulon Luxgen shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. The winners were led by American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and guard Kuo-Lun Pu (195-2001) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots).
