Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward James Padgett (203-1991, college: Maryland) did not help to save the game for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Changhua have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Rather expected game when 4th ranked Taiwan Beer (5-9) was defeated by second ranked Keelung BK (7-6) 93-84 on Tuesday. Keelung BK looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. The former international guard Kai-Hsiang Hu (190-1991) chipped in 25 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Chieh-Min Lu (184-1995) who recorded 31 points and American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) added 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Taiwan Beer's coach Meng-Chu Liu let to play twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory Keelung BK went down to third position due to points difference.
