The game between third ranked DEA (11-10) and sixth ranked Mars (8-10) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. DEA was defeated by Mars in a tough game 104-112. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of DEA. Taipei TM made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for Kenyan-South Sudanese power forward Makur Maker (212-2000, college: Howard) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!). American Stanton Kidd (202-1992, college: Colorado St., agency: JCK Sports Group) helped adding 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was Montenegrin forward Marko Todorovic (208-1992) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds. DEA's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Taipei TM maintains sixth place with 8-10 record. N.Taipei CTBC at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. Taipei TM are looking forward to face league's leader Taiwan Beer L. in Taoyuan in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. N.Taipei CTBC will have a break next round.

It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Lioneers. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Jayden Gardner (201-2000, college: Virginia, agency: MSG) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Femi Olujobi accounted for 10 points and 14 rebounds. American power forward Drew Pember (211-2000, college: UNC Asheville) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for Lioneers in the defeat. Lioneers' coach Wesam Al-Sous tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 9-11 record. Lioneers at the other side keep the second position with eight games lost. Kings will play against higher ranked Dreamers (#4) in Changhua in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lioneers will play on the road against the league's leader Taiwan Beer L. in Taoyuan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Dreamers will play against Kaohsiung A. and hope to secure a win.

Very expected game when 7th ranked Aquas (6-14) were crushed by third ranked DEA (11-10) 133-91 on Saturday. N.Taipei CTBC forced 24 Kaohsiung A. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Kaohsiung A.'s players. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin forward Marko Todorovic (208-1992) who scored 29 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Radovic (208-1991) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. Four DEA players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian-American power forward Efe Uwadiae-Odigie (203-1989, college: Claflin) who recorded 29 points and 8 rebounds and guard Huai-An Chen (186-1997) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. N.Taipei CTBC maintains third place with 11-10 record having just one point less than leader Taiwan Beer L. Loser Aquas stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. N.Taipei CTBC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kaohsiung A. will play against Dreamers (#4) in Changhua and hope to secure a win.
