Round 3 most important game was a defeat of Keelung BK (4-3). They were crushed by Bank of Taiwan (5-3) 95-72 on Thursday night. Bank of Taiwan dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Keelung BK's 24. Bank of Taiwan forced 23 Keelung BK turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Keelung BK's players. It was a great evening for the former international guard Chia-He Chang (188-1996) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. The former international Chieh-Yu Han (194-1999) helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
Keelung BK (4-3) recorded a loss against Yulon Luxgen. Yulon Luxgen were defeated by Yulon Luxgen (3-4) 72-68. It was an exceptional evening for American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists. Ming-Yi Lin accounted for 13 points and 6 rebounds. American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 18 rebounds for Keelung BK in the defeat.
A very close game was the one between Taiwan Beer and Yulon Luxgen. Taiwan Beer (4-3) got a very close victory over Yulon Luxgen (3-4). Taiwan Beer managed to escape with a 2-point win 68-66 on Thursday evening. The best player for the winners was Gerard Tarin who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Brandon Moss who recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 3: Bank of Taiwan won against Changhua 67-55. Keelung BK unfortunately lost to Changhua 71-83. Bank of Taiwan managed to beat Taiwan Beer 61-56.



Taiwan Beer - Yulon Luxgen 68-66

A very close game was the one between Taiwan Beer and Yulon Luxgen. Taiwan Beer (4-3) got a very close victory over Yulon Luxgen (3-4). Taiwan Beer managed to escape with a 2-point win 68-66 on Thursday evening. The best player for the winners was American forward Gerard Tarin (205-1996, college: Nova SE) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Chieh-Min Lu (184-1995) chipped in 18 points. Tarin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American Brandon Moss (204-1994, college: LSUA) who recorded a double-double by scoring 30 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and international center Shao-Fu Lan (195-1997) added 23 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

The best player for the winners was American power forward James Padgett (203-1991, college: Maryland) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. The former international point guard Wei-Cheng Wang (183-1999) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Nigerian forward Ifeanyi Eboka (198-2000) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. There was a surprise result when Changhua (2-5) defeated Keelung BK (4-3) 83-71 on Sunday. Changhua forced 21 Keelung BK turnovers. The best player for the winners was American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-1990, college: CSUSB, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 31 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Wei-Hsiang Chang (190-1996) chipped in 19 points. Changhua's coach Chun-Hsiung Wu used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Wendell Lewis (204-1989, college: Alabama St.) who recorded 29 points and 9 rebounds and forward Yi-Hsiang Chou (191) added 13 points respectively.
