The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Taiyuan Textile (16-2) against second ranked Cathay Life on Sunday night. Cathay Life were defeated by Cathay Life 71-67. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Taiyuan Textile. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. It was a good game for Yu-Wen Xiao who led her team to a victory with 9 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Ling-Chuan Huang (175-1994) contributed with 12 points for the winners.
