SBL Round 6: Bank of Taiwan is defeated by Yulon Luxgen

The most important game in the last round was the one between second ranked Bank of Taiwan (10-4) and fourth ranked Yulon Luxgen (5-8) on Friday night. Bank of Taiwan was defeated by Yulon Luxgen in a tough game 80-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bank of Taiwan. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 52-31 including a 38-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 23 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Ba Ban (203-1997) chipped in 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Zak Irvin (198-1994, college: Michigan) with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Jeoutai made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Canadian-American swingman Nicholas Wiggins (198-1991, college: Z*Orangeville A's) who scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American power forward Jalen Robinson (206-1993, college: Dalton St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 20 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-1991, college: Portland St.) who recorded 9 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import power forward C.J.
