Regular Season Round 6: Pauian - Bank of Taiwan 79-101

Rather predictable result when second ranked Bank of Taiwan (10-4) smashed bottom-ranked Pauian (1-12) 101-79 on Sunday. Bank of Taiwan forced 21 Pauian turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Yu-Zhu Chen (195-1990) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Dashaun Wiggins (188-1991, college: Portland St.) who recorded 22 points and 4 steals and his fellow American import power forward C.J. Aiken (206-1990, college: St.Joseph's) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bank of Taiwan maintains second position with 10-4 record having just three points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Pauian lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost. Bank of Taiwan will meet Yulon Luxgen (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Pauian will play against Jeoutai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
