Taiwan Beer - Bank of Taiwan 64-75 The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Taiwan Beer (6-1) against Bank of Taiwan on Thursday night. Bank of Taiwan were defeated by Bank of Taiwan (5-2) 75-64. Bank of Taiwan looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-97, college: NSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Zak Irvin (198-94, college: Michigan) helped adding 16 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists. Bank of Taiwan's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American center Doral Moore (216-97, college: Wake Forest) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 20 rebounds and guard Wangzi Gang (183-93) scored 14 points. Bank of Taiwan are looking forward to face Jeoutai (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Taiwan Beer will play against Yulon Luxgen and is hoping to win this game. The best player for the winners was forward Ba Ban (203-97) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 24 rebounds. Guard Guan-Liang Lu (185-90) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward C.J. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bank of Taiwan made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American swingman Zak Irvin (198-94, college: Michigan) who scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field).
