Regular Season Round 3: Taiwan Beer - Yulon Luxgen 77-74

Fourth-ranked Yulon Luxgen (2-4) gave a tough game to Taiwan Beer (6-1) in Taipei. Taiwan Beer managed to secure only three-point victory 77-74. However their fans expected easier game. It was an exceptional evening for American center Doral Moore (216-97, college: Wake Forest) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. His fellow American import guard Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) accounted for 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Canadian-American swingman Nicholas Wiggins (198-91, college: Z*Orangeville A's) came up with 25 points and 6 rebounds and guard Guan-Liang Lu (185-90) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Yulon Luxgen in the defeat. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Yulon Luxgen's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Taiwan Beer will again play against Yulon Luxgen (#4) in the next round. Yulon Luxgen will play against Jeoutai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
