SBL Round 20: Pauian defeat Taiwan Beer

There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in SBL. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Taiwan Beer (30-7) against fifth ranked Pauian on Friday night. Pauian were defeated by fifth ranked Pauian (12-26) 89-84. Pauian looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Center Dan Qiao (200-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 19 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). Guard Jia-Kang Li (185-98) contributed with 23 points for the winners. American forward JD Miller (203-96, college: TCU) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks for Taiwan Beer. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Pauian have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 12-26 record. Defending champion Taiwan Beer still keeps top place with seven games lost. Pauian are looking forward to face higher ranked Jutai Techn. (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
