The game between closely ranked teams ended with third ranked Bank of Taiwan's (16-21) victory over one of their biggest challengers Jutai Techn. (12-25) 80-76 on Sunday. American swingman Zak Irvin (198-94, college: Michigan) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists. International center Zong-Rong Hsieh (200-95) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Bank of Taiwan's coach used entire bench in such tough game. The former international forward Yi-Chin Su (195-93) replied with 28 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American swingman Jordan Caroline (201-96, college: Nevada) added 15 points and 16 rebounds in the effort for Jutai Techn.Bank of Taiwan maintains third position with 16-21 record having fourteen points less than leader Taiwan Beer. Loser Jutai Techn. keeps the fourth place with 25 games lost. Bank of Taiwan will face league's leader Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jutai Techn. will play against Pauian and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
