Al Wahda inks Ndeye Dieng

Al Wahda Damascus (D1) signed 29-year old Senegalese ex-international guard Ndeye Dieng (178cm-1994, college: Auburn). She was the top scorer at Helios in Swiss SBL league last season where in 6 games she had very impressive stats: 17.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 3.5apg and 4.0spg.
The previous (2021-22) season she played at another Swiss team Esperance Sportive Pully in Switzerland.
She was also a member of the Senegalese international program for some years. Dieng played for Senegalese Senior National Team between 2018 and 2019 and previously for the Under 19 National Team back in 2013.
She also represented Senegal at the World Championships (FIBA World Cup) in Tenerife (Spain) six years ago. During this event she scored an average of 2 points per game and had rebounds per game.
Dieng graduated from Auburn University in 2017 and it will be her eighth season as a professional player.
