Al Ittihad lands Jeremy Kendle, ex Sharks

Al Ittihad Ahli of Aleppo (SBL) has signed Jeremy Kendle, a 35-year-old American guard who stands at 186cm tall and played college basketball at Bellarmine. Kendle was the leading scorer for the Sharks in the New Zealand NBL league last season, averaging an impressive 24.6 points per game in 18 games. He also contributed 3.8 rpg and an impressive 9.0 apg, leading the league in this category. Kendle's performance earned him several accolades, including the Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Import Player of the Year, Guard of the Year, and a spot on the All-Imports Team.
He has also played in the European leagues, including Australia's Toowoomba Mountaineers, Adelaide 36ers, Kings, Bullets, and Bendigo Braves. Additionally, he has played in Morocco, New Zealand for the Rams and Tuatara, and Switzerland for Massagno.
He's a highly experienced player who has played professionally in four different countries on three different continents thanks to his career in pro basketball. He has extensive knowledge of European, Australian, and North American leagues. In the past, he has played for various teams in Australia such as the Toowoomba Mountaineers, Adelaide 36ers, Kings, Bullets, and Bendigo Braves. Additionally, he has also played in Morocco, New Zealand for the Rams and Tuatara, and Switzerland for Massagno.
Among the many awards, his team won the Australian NBL1 North Regular Season in 2021. He also received the Australiabasket.com All-Australian NBL1 North Player of the Year award in the same year. This may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Ittihad.
He graduated from Bellarmine University in 2013, and this upcoming season will mark his eleventh season in professional basketball.
