SBL Round 8 (Regular Season): Al Wahda lose Al Jalaa

Round 8 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Al Wahda (5-3). They were crushed by sixth ranked Al Jalaa (4-3) 88-65 on Monday night. Al Jalaa moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Al Hurriyeh. Defending champion Al Wahda dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Al Nawaeer. They were replaced at the leadership position by Al Karameh. Al Wahda will play next round against Al Wathba trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Al Nawaeer will meet at home league's second-placed Al Ittihad in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
