Makye Richards (ex Ghaz Al-Shamal) signs at Al Jaish

Makye Richards

Al Jaish Damascus (SBL) landed American 188cm guard Makye Richards (college: Xavier, LA, agency: Interperformances). Richards played most recently at Ghaz Al-Shamal in Iraqi Superleague.
He graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2022 and it will be his second season in pro basketball. His team won GCAC Tournament in 2020 and 2021. Richards was voted to NAIA All-America Honorable Mention in 2021 and 2022. He played for other colleges like: Northern New Mexico College, Baton Rouge Community College.
