SBL Round 6 (Regular Season): Al Ittihad lose to Al Karameh

Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game in the last round took place in Aleppo between third ranked Al Ittihad (3-2) and sixth ranked Al Karameh (3-2) on Monday night. Al Ittihad was defeated by Al Karameh in a tough game at home 60-65. Al Karameh moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Al Ittihad and Al Jalaa.
SBL top team - Al Wahda (5-1) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked Al Nawaeer (4-3) in Damascus 89-83. Defending champion maintains first position with 5-1 record. Al Nawaeer at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost.
Bottom-ranked Al Wathba is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to sixth ranked Al Jalaa (3-2) 94-56 on Thursday evening. Al Jalaa moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Al Ittihad and Al Karameh. Loser Al Wathba still closes the standings with six games lost.

In the last two games of round 6 Al Hurriyeh beat Al Jaish on the road 84-74. Al Nawaeer won against Al Jaish on its own court 76-68.




Al Wathba - Al Jalaa 56-94

Bottom-ranked Al Wathba is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to sixth ranked Al Jalaa (3-2) 94-56 on Thursday evening. Al Jalaa moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Al Ittihad and Al Karameh. Loser Al Wathba still closes the standings with six games lost.

Al Jaish - Al Hurriyeh 74-84

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Al Hurriyeh (4-1) beat 7th ranked Al Jaish (1-6) in Damascus 84-74 on Friday. Al Hurriyeh have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 4-1 record behind leader Al Wahda. Al Jaish lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with six games lost.
