Al Karameh Homs (SBL) has signed Dewarick Spencer, a 41-year-old American guard who stands at 192cm tall and played college basketball at Arkansas State. Spencer brings a wealth of experience to the team, having spent the last three years playing for Al Ittisalat in the Egyptian Superleague.

He's a highly experienced player who has traveled extensively throughout his professional career, playing in eleven different countries across four continents. These countries include China (Jilin Tigers), France (Le Mans), Greece, Iran (Petrochimi), Italy, Lebanon (Al Riyadi, Sagesse, Champville, and Moutahed), Turkey, Ukraine (Budivelnyk), Venezuela (Guaiqueries and Guaros), South Korea (Sono Skygunners and Seoul Knights), and Macau (Macau).
Among the many awards he has received, his college team made it to the Venezuelan LPB Cup Final Four in 2019. He was also voted to the Asia-Basket.com William Jones Cup All-Defensive Team in 2016. As a player, he is close to retirement age, and it is possible that this may be one of his last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Al Karameh.

He graduated from Arkansas State University in 2005, and this upcoming season will mark his 19th season in professional basketball. Prior to that, he also played for Faulkner State Community College for a span of 2 years.
His game is described as fast-paced and intense.

Dewarick Spencer is a tremendous three-point shooter, one of the best in NCAA D-1 during his college career. He is also a good defender and fairly athletic, capable of playing both the 1 and 2 positions equally well. In the French league, he showcased great skills and won numerous individual accolades. Spencer puts great intensity on defense and has the ability to play above the rim, in addition to his impressive shooting ability.
