Al Hurriyeh Aleppo (SBL) has appointed 49-year-old coach Azzam Alhusain as their leader for the 2023-24 season. Alhusain previously coached at Al Karameh a


In 2020, he coached the Syrian Senior National Team.

He has also coached and played at Al Wathba.


His team reached the Syrian Cup final in 2019.

He was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Syrian League Coach of the Year in 2016.
