In the previous season, he played for Qatar Club in Qatar, where he was the league's second-highest scorer with an impressive average of 28.5 points per game. He also recorded 9.3 rpg, ranking fourth in the league, as well as 9.3 apg, ranking in the top four. Additionally, he averaged 3.8 spg and 1.3 bpg. Earlier in the same season, Halums played for Al Wehda in Saudi Arabia. He's a highly experienced player who has traveled extensively throughout his professional career, playing in four different countries across three continents (Asia, Africa, and North America). He has previously played professionally for teams in Bahrain (Al-Hala), Qatar, Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli, Ohod, and Al Fateh), and Libya (Al Nasr). In 2023, his team reached the semifinals of the Qatari League, and he was voted onto the Asia-Basket.com Qatar D1 All-Imports Team. He graduated from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith in 2020, and this is his fourth season in professional basketball. He also played for other colleges such as the University of Mississippi and Itawamba Community College.
