Mohammad Jamshidi (ex Gorgan) signs at Al Ittihad

Al Ittihad Ahli of Aleppo (SBL) landed 32-year-old Iranian international 199cm small forward Mohammad Jamshidi, agency: BIG for the new season. Jamshidi has played for the last three years at Shahrdari Gorgan in Iranian Superleague. In 12 West Asia Super League games, he averaged an impressive 19.7ppg, 3.8rpg, 5.5apg, and 1.7spg last season.

He has been also a member of the Iranian international program for some years. Jamshidi has regularly played for the Iranian senior team since 2010 and previously for U19 National Team back in 2009.

He represented Iran at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) two years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 10.7ppg, 1.0rpg, 4.7apg, FGP: 45.0%, 3PT: 37.5%, FT: 71.4%.

Jamshidi has played previously professionally also in the Philippines (Meralco Bolts) and Iran (Petrochimi, Azad, Shahrekord, Kashan, and Naft Abadan). He won the Iranian Superleague championship title in 2017, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Jamshidi was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Iranian Superleague Honorable Mention back in 2013 and 2015.
