Al Hurriyeh - Al Nawaeer 66-87 The game in Aleppo supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Al Nawaeer (10-4) played at the court of 8th ranked Al Hurriyeh (5-10). Al Nawaeer smashed Al Hurriyeh 87-66. Al Nawaeer maintains fourth place with 10-4 record. Al Hurriyeh at the other side dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Tishreen. Al Nawaeer will play against Al Wathba (#10) in Homs in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Al Hurriyeh will play at home against Hutteen and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Hutteen - Tishreen 91-81 There was a minor upset in Lattakia where 7th ranked Tishreen (5-10) was defeated by ninth ranked Hutteen (4-12) 91-81. Hutteen maintains ninth place with 4-12 record. Tishreen lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Al Hurriyeh. Hutteen will play against higher ranked Al Hurriyeh (#8) in Aleppo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tishreen will play on the road against Al Jalaa in Aleppo and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Al Wathba - Al Jaish 61-80 Very predictable result in Homs where third ranked Al Jaish (11-4) smashed 10th ranked Al Wathba (2-14) 80-61. Al Jaish maintains third place with 11-4 record having just three points less than leader Al Ittihad. Al Wathba at the other side keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Al Jaish will play against bottom-ranked Al Taleiah (#11) in Hama in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Wathba will play on the road against Al Nawaeer in Hama and hopes to get back on the winning track. Al Wahda - Al Jalaa 70-68 The most exciting game of round 19 in the SBL took place in Damascus. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Al Jalaa (9-5) to third ranked Al Wahda (11-3) 70-68 on Wednesday evening. Al Wahda have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Al Jalaa at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Al Wahda will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Jalaa will play at home against Tishreen (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals. |
