SBL Round 6: Al Jaish keep a leadership position

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Al Jaish as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Al Jaish smashed 5th ranked Tishreen in Damascus 101-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tishreen. Al Jaish have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Tishreen dropped to the sixth place with three games lost. Tishreen will play next round against Hutteen trying to get back on the winning streak. Al Jaish will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Al Wathba in Homs.
Bottom-ranked Hutteen (0-5) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Al Karameh (2-1) 87-55. Al Karameh moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Al Nawaeer. Hutteen at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Al Wathba. Al Karameh will play against Al Taleiah (#9) in Hama in the next round. Hutteen will play on the road against Tishreen in Latakia and hopes to get finally their first victory.
