Al Karameh sign a second foreign player

Al-Karameh-Homs (SBL) tabbed 30-year old Serbian 221cm center Nemanja Besovic for new season. Besovic is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Musa Abdul-Aleem signed here earlier.
He played most recently at Pilots in Taiwanese PLeague+. He managed to play in four leagues in two countries last year (!!!). In 6 PLeague+ games he averaged 12.8ppg, 7.0rpg and 1.0spg. He also played for Akademik in Bulgarian NBL. The team played in three different competitions that year, and he was exposed to basketball on different levels. In 14 Bulgarian NBL games he had 10.9ppg and 3.9rpg. Besovic also played 1 game in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded very impressive stats: 16 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. He also played 8 games in Balkan League where he got 9.5ppg and 3.8rpg.
Besovic was a member of Serbian U20 National Team back in 2012.
He is a very experienced player. Besovic has played also professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi and Pepinster), Iran (Zob Ahan), Qatar (Al Ahli and Al Gharafa), Serbia (Partizan and Vojvodina S Gas), United Arab Emirates (Baniyas) and North Macedonia (Strumica). He won Serbian League championship title in 2011 and 2012.
Among many awards he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention back in 2018.
